Anna University New Exam Pattern 2015 - Revised Anna University Question Paper Pattern
Anna University Decided to change the Anna University Question Paper Pattern. So they appointed a crew of members to review and suggest the new examination pattern on last October 2014.
Anna University replied that the main reason behind the change of question paper is to test students on their knowledge of engineering concepts, creativity, application and understanding of subjects and kill the habit of studying the often expect questions from the book as they(students) did in school.
As per the Information from the officials, the New Question paper pattern expected as
the official pattern may change
Anna University believes that the new question paper pattern of anna university exams will bring the students knowledge and memory to be refresh .It applicable for all colleges and all departments including the university departments under the Anna University.
we hope that the new exam pattern will be more helpful. But may be there is some bad thing for students also can occur , as per the info about the further meetings negative mark for the objective questions may be also included . Nothing is official except the new pattern . So we wait for official circular from AU.

The New Anna University Question Paper pattern (Expected)
- Objective Type Questions - 40 % (40 Marks)
- Subjective Type Questions - 60% (60 Marks)
Anna University believes that the new question paper pattern of anna university exams will bring the students knowledge and memory to be refresh .It applicable for all colleges and all departments including the university departments under the Anna University.
The change of new exam pattern is expected from November December 2015 Anna university examinations .This pattern will be effective from Third Sem (currently R-2013 2nd Sem ) Students .

A senior professor said that ,Official info by the Anna University
"There could be more discussions and the members could send it back for further fine-tuning. But the pattern will be implemented in November-December, we hope"
“Students take it seriously only if it involves marks and the new exam pattern will help us test if the student had understood the concept,”
